Terms of service
These terms govern the use of WingsPath. Where your organisation has signed a separate written agreement with Savanna Avia Ltd, that agreement takes precedence over anything on this page.
Last updated 18 August 2026.
1. The service
WingsPath is an aviation management platform provided by Savanna Avia Ltd, a company registered in Kenya and based in Nairobi, Kenya. It is offered as modules — continuing airworthiness, flight operations, training and crew — and an organisation takes only the modules it needs.
The platform is in early access. We onboard organisations individually, features continue to be added, and some parts of the platform are built but not yet switched on. We will tell you what is live before you rely on it.
2. Accounts and access
- Accounts are for named individuals. Do not share an account or its password.
- Your organisation's administrators decide who joins, what role each person holds, and which aircraft each person may see.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you believe it has been used by someone else.
- We may suspend an account that is being used to attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
3. Your records remain yours
Your organisation keeps ownership of everything it puts into the platform: documents, maintenance records, crew and training data. We claim no ownership of it. We use it to run the service for you, and for nothing else.
We may use anonymous, aggregated information about how the platform is used — for example how long a process takes — to improve it. That information never identifies your organisation, your people or your aircraft.
4. Accuracy of what you put in
The platform reports on the records it holds. If a record is missing, out of date or wrong, the status it shows will be wrong too. Your organisation is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the records it uploads and enters.
Where the platform extracts information from a scanned document, a person in your organisation must review and approve it before it becomes part of the airworthiness record. We build it this way on purpose, and that review is your responsibility, not ours.
5. Your regulatory responsibility
WingsPath is a record-keeping and decision-support tool. It does not hold an approval, it does not certify anything, and it does not take on any part of your organisation's duties to its regulator.
- A due date, a status, a forecast or a refusal shown by the platform is information for a qualified person to act on. It is not an airworthiness determination.
- A release to service is valid because a licensed, authorised person declared it. The platform records that declaration and protects it from alteration; it does not make it.
- Your accountable manager, your certifying staff and your postholders remain responsible to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, or to whichever authority approves your organisation, exactly as they were before.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reach data belonging to another organisation.
- Probe, scan or test the platform's security without our written permission. Reporting a vulnerability you found in good faith is welcome — see our security page.
- Copy, resell or make the platform available to a third party that has no agreement with us.
- Upload malicious files, or content you have no right to upload.
- Use automated means to extract data at a scale that degrades the service for others.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the platform available and we back it up nightly, but we do not currently publish an availability guarantee. We will not quote a figure we have not measured over a meaningful period. When we commit to one, it will be in a written agreement, not on this page.
Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can. Support is provided during Kenyan business hours through the contact route below.
8. Fees
Fees are agreed in writing with each organisation before the service begins. Prices are not published. Unless your agreement says otherwise, fees are invoiced in advance and are payable in the currency stated on the invoice.
9. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's confidential information confidential, and use it only to perform this agreement. This does not apply to information that is already public, or that one of us is legally required to disclose.
10. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Savanna Avia Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of contracts, or loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of information in the platform where the underlying record was incomplete or incorrect.
Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid by your organisation in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Ending the agreement, and getting your data out
Either party may end the agreement in accordance with its written terms, or on reasonable notice where no term is stated. We may suspend access immediately if the platform is being misused in a way that threatens other customers.
When the agreement ends, your organisation may request an export of its data, and we will provide it. We will keep the data available for a reasonable period to allow the export, then delete it, except where we are required to retain something by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell your organisation's administrators directly before it takes effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
14. Contact
